Important Questions to Consider When Planning a Restaurant Marketing Strategy

There are many questions to consider in restaurant marketing strategies. First of all, what type of restaurant is this? Is it gourmet cuisine, casual dining, ethnic food, family oriented, or fast food? Also, what type of clientele do you hope to attract? Are you catering to upscale diners, senior citizens, families, singles, teens, or kids? Does the restaurant have a bar or serve alcoholic beverages? Will there be some form of entertainment? Are the items on the menu high priced, moderately priced, or value priced? Will there be discounts for seniors, featured specials, or coupons in the Sunday paper? These are all very important factors to think about when coming up with a marketing plan.
