Sending Money Overseas to a Daughter at School in the USA

My mother needed to send money to her daughter in the United States, where she is studying at college in California. This means she needed to do currency exchange from Australian dollars into United States dollars. The university in California won’t take Australian dollars for her daughter’s tuition payments. My mother shopped many money transfer companies to find one with the lowest mix of fees and exchange rates. Once she found a money transfer company that had the best deal, she transferred her Australian dollars to her daughter who received it as United States dollars. Her daughter was very thankful for the money transfer.
