The Catholic church efforts in the nation of Rwanda
September 3rd, 2010 by admin
Rome has always been considered as a Catholic based city since it homes St. Peters Square, where pope Benedict the 16th lives. The Catholic faith has over time helped in spreading the message of peace and love all over the world by sending its representatives, who are cardinals, priests and sisters to all countries. In remote third world poor countries, the church has provided grants for catholic schools to help in providing education to students and spread of Christian faith. Schools in Rwanda have benefited from the grants following the genocide that caused the death of over 500,000 of its citizens in a tribal clash between the tutsis and hutus. The Catholic church has therefore helped in building of schools, colleges and Universities bringing the nation back on track. Also, employment facilities have been provided through establishment of infrastructure.
