Bed bug bites take a long time to manifest themselves. Sometimes the symptoms can be detected after a time lapse of about ten days. However, for those who have experienced multiple attacks this time can reduce to just a few days. About a week after they have become full blown, the reddish spots if not treated carefully can become swollen and they may require medical approach. In case a person has been bitten once per night, the signs may taker longer to surface. The time of this revelation is also influenced by the skin type of the victim with certain people being diagnosed faster than others.
