He Finally Got the Help he Needed

I have an eight year old son and his teacher has told me that he is having a hard time in school. She stressed to me that she is really concerned about his reading. She felt that his reading level was far below what it should be for a child of his age. I immediately started spending extra time with him in the evenings to work on his reading. I realized that I was confusing him more than helping him. So, I decided to try the phonics program. This was a great choice, because he started showing improvement almost immediately. After eight sessions, he was up to the level that he needed to be.
