    Uplifting Stories

    December 22nd, 2009 by admin

I love reading stories from mormon history because they are so uplifting. Stories about normal people doing extraordinary things are always inspiring, and members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints certainly don’t have a monopoly on extraordinary people. Still, it is nice, as a Mormon (or Latter-day Saint), to read stories about mormon history, because the stories are about people with the same beliefs. These people are in many senses my forebearers, and it is inspiring to learn how they dealt with and got through their challenges. These stories offer encouragement to help me get through my own trials.
